DO YOU FEEL TOTALLY CONFIDENT WITH YOUR LOOK?

Have you nailed it?  I totally understand how hard it can be to feel like you have.  Having worked in a male dominated environment, been a student, a wife and a mother of three children I think i just got a bit lost along the way.  If I’m totally honest, I am not sure I had it in the first place!

CONFIDENCE CRISIS!

When I reached 40, I was determined that I wouldn’t turn into my mother!  There’s nothing wrong with my mother but I didn’t want to look like her.  We are only 20 years apart and we were often called sisters by strangers, which I was never sure who it complimented!!

I WASN’T ALONE…

Discussing this with friends, I realised that I was not alone in wanting to find a signature style, in order to give me more confidence when shopping for clothes, or simply choosing what to wear for a night out.

I NEEDED A SOLUTION….

My children were growing up and I was in a job I hated, so my sense of self-worth was pretty low.  I needed a change but had no idea what to do.  At this time my daughter asked to have her ‘colours done’ for Christmas.   During her Colour consultation I realised that this was the work I wanted to get involved with.  Becoming a style confidence coach or personal stylist, whichever terminology you prefer, enabled me to find a job helping people with their own sense of style and found my own along the way!

YOUR SENSE OF SELF-WORTH IS SO IMPORTANT AND INDIVIDUAL

What makes us feel good on the outside, makes us feel good on the inside.  I love to help other women who might have similar issues with their sense of style and self-worth. What I didn’t expect is the complexity of the issue of what we wear and why we wear it.  It’s so much more than just the clothes on our backs.
